Book Announcement: Ink, Main to Celebrate a Double Release in Fall 2021

We’re excited to share an update about The Way Things Were anthology series.

To reboot this nostalgia-themed collection, we’re doing a DOUBLE RELEASE the Tuesday before Small Business Saturday:

NOVEMBER 23, 2021 ~~ Official pre-sales begin Sept. 1

This thoughtful timing of this dual-release helps capture the very spirit of what we hope these books will accomplish: celebrate our small town stores and local papers.

Ink was previously slated to release this summer. So, in full transparency, this new dual-release date also helps Hippocampus Magazine (continue to) recover from the pandemic and will allow our small, volunteer team the time and energy needed to usher our annual conference, HippoCamp, back into the world this summer.

Both of these projects were put together with editorial, marketing, administrative, and production assistance of graduate students in the master’s in publishing program at Rosemont College. Their participation in these two projects was made possible through an experiential course called Small Press Practices.

We can’t wait to share these stories with you this fall. Many more details about the titles, the contributors, and the behind-the-scenes teams to come.
